Art Struggles and the Sunflowers that saved me inspired by Van Gogh
Art feelings. Good. Bad. Meh. Join me today as I show you how I experienced both failure and success with my art in the same week. My first painting was inspired by the Netherlands’ beautiful Spring flower fields and what I created did not live up to my expectations or ‘visions’ so after mourning the loss of time and energy that went into it, I picked myself up and created something new and different heavily inspired from Vincent Van Gogh. I didn’t love the first set of emotions that came with this painting experience but am so glad I pushed myself to try something different because the next lot of emotions were well worth it. I wonder if others out there experience this kind of ‘drama’ with their art or am I just ‘dramatic’?
